It happened a lot when I was viewing nice pictures on Instagram... Ahem... The site kept loading slower and slower and I saw Safari use several gigs of RAM in Taskmanager. Firefox isn't affected in the same way. I use OSX 10.10.5 yosemite.

I'm using Firefox since Safari keeps filling up available RAM until it stops running.
