Re: The US Hamster Wheel

The States have to step up to their Constitutional reposnibilitities. The design of the Constitution was to make the states the judges, by electing their legislators, on issues of both local and national import. We simply must express which way we want to go in 2020. I'm s Trumper. I see the left w...

Re: Mosque shooting in Christchurch NZ.

I see no point in putting him in prison for the rest of his life. Cost to the taxpayer etc. Dump him into a Muslim community area, throwing him out of a vehicle so he gets a few broken bones and cuts and bruise, and let mob justice do the rest. Orrrr, drop him off in downtown Kabul with a sign arou...

An Appeal for Assistance

All, I would not normally post something like this but in this event I feel the overwhelming need to do so. As most of you are aware, Hurricane Irma has come and gone. Although the west coast of Florida bore the brunt of the hurricane many are not aware that the US Virgin Islands actually took the w...

Re: Would NORAD protect Canada against DPRK missiles?

Facts: sorry, it's a habit. I'm getting better though...I only bring the facts I like Friend of mine used to be on the Staff at NORAD. He was well aware that the US was defending nothing other than the US, or that slippery rascal "US interests". And to the best of my recollection, the onl...

Re: What to do with older people unable to care for themselves.

Humans don't decide what, or who, is dead. God does. Does he? Once again, what about the tiny babies, born too early and not ready to live yet, kept alive, risking lifelong disabilities? What about the brain-dead? Dead or undead? ...putting a dollar amount on the life of a human being... But it's t...

Re: What to do with older people unable to care for themselves.

And in Ben There's case, absolute avarice.. NO Caco, there was no avarice in my case. I had nothing to gain. My observation was that the cost of preserving a life that had functionally come to an end was questionable. I loved my father and would have done anything for him. But he came to his end. C...

Re: What to do with older people unable to care for themselves.

There is no price on a human life. Period. On all seven billion of them. Get real. Or does your "no price" only apply to WASP's - White Anglo-Saxon Protestants? or whatever it stands for. Should all individuals in hospitals deemed brain dead be kept alive in perpetuity, because some relig...

Had every expectation that someone here would use emotive words, although I didn't expect it to be you John. Well you know what, someone has to bite the bullet. Given the medical professions sole criteria for success is keeping people alive, when will we reach the stage to say enough is enough. Whe...

Re: What to do with older people unable to care for themselves.

Just been reading about eight residents of retirement facility in Florida who died after Irma power cut. Apparently there were well over a hundred people in the place. Having no wish to end up as a dribbling bib-wearing vegetable in such a place I have made arrangements for my own demise. This to b...

500N?

Howdy y'all. I know I've been MIA for awhile now but I was wondering if anyone knows what became of my buddy 500N? I have what I thought was his correct email address, which I've used successfully in the past, but for some odd reason it bounces back now with an 'unknown user' error message.
