I believe that Dante would have had a Platform/Level 9-3/4 for scrotes who steal copper from railways

Moody's just downrated Boeing to Baa3, one level above Junk, with a negative outlook.
Stock dropped 7.5% on the news.

Re: Flower Pot Irrigation
I would suggest a gravity fed solution. It is much cheaper. Most prepackaged watering systems (e.g. Orbit, above) are designed for pressurised systems, i.e. from mains water, and the fancy timers won't work with a low pressure, gravity system. You can buy battery powered timers suitable for such low...

There is now an Apple Migration Assistant.
With a title like that you'd maybe expect them to provide you with a rubber dinghy and an asylum claim form, but apparently it does data transfer from Windows to Mac

Oh yes. Copper is very stealable, worldwide. Quite a lot of thieves will steal it whilst it's live.
Not all of them have insulating gloves.
EVs, data centres and AI will only increase demand in the future.

Re: WTF is happening in the UK?
The Government’s modelling of the benefits of immigration has consistently overlooked the fiscal costs arising from pressure on housing, public services and welfare. That’s the ideological consensus I want to take on. The mass low-skilled migration we have experienced has in fact been a burden on t...

It's a compatibility problem. Your Spanish keyboard doesn't even wake up till 11am. Your British PC has been available for work since 8am, but has now mysteriously disappeared on a "tea break" now that the keyboard is available for work. The tea break, plus "delivery issues' will last until ten past...

US Senate considering the Ukraine Aid Bill - vote expected later tonight. I presume Sleepy Joe can find his pen by tomorrow morning. Crimea and Taganrog have active air defence, unknown whether the weapons are sophisticated, or not, or both. putin appears to want Chasiv Yar captured for his May Day ...

Re: Malaysian navy helicopters collide mid-air
After the break from formation, the second to outside helo on the right seems to collide with the outside right helo. The basic reason for the collision is that the second to outside pilot failed to keep separation from the outside helo after the break from formation. Looks like the main rotor disc ...

Roofs are good. Stopping air leaks is the cheapest.
The simple facts with insulation are knowing where the problems are and insulating/draughtproofing carefully - only the homeowner can do that.
Every contractor is paid by the hour and isn't paying any part of the subsequent energy bills.

More external insulation.
I'm stripping off my old siding and adding 2" of foam under the new shortly.

Examiners had (probably still do have) a quota. Your mate probably took his test at the end of the month. By chance, my mother took her 6th driving test immediately after my sister #1 took her first test, and with the same examiner. My mum informed him that they had the same instructor, that he had ...
