Back to Friday jokes. On father's day, one daughter bought me a pack of 101 Dad jokes. Everybody now hates her.

Our house was built in 1927, and the leccy supply is, I believe, rated at 60A. With electric cars, and the possible move to a heat pump, 60A is inadequate, and 100A recommended. Who's going to pay for it?

There are still microlight flights operating. MrsP took the adventure about 4 years ago.

Orft to bella Italia tomorrow for a few days' R&R. If the leg holds out, we're going back in August for a couple of weeks. I hope the restaurant in Malcesine still features the octopus carpaccio.

Lots of crappy stuff on the Kindle app, but in terms of a "real" book, it's Eddie Jones' "Leadership". Excellent, and not just for rugby fans.

I liked the clever American technique of printing a fly under the enamel. Men cannot avoid aiming at the fly.

Tonight is beef mezzaluna; tomorrow is eat out, but Saturday is beef short ribs - 6 hrs in the slow cooker with red wine, beef stock and herbs. Looking forward to that.
