Re: Child Cruelty (Legalised)
Seems to me you have more of a problem with BarkingM than the subject . . . but perhaps that's just my 'flawed' human perspective. I'm just glad this phenomenon doesn't DIRECTLY affect my family or friends. It must be said in my 70 years, just about ALL the 'gender re-assigned' people I've met (abou...

Re: Child Cruelty (Legalised)
Is that it then? Ended up here by accident but do remember seeing the M3 (Mainstream Media Morons), some kid that had convinced the NHS to have their bits chopped off and was now suing them for doing it. WTF? As for 'Fake News', how is one supposed to distinguish? The Media, along with the vast majo...

Neither the Tristar -500 or the DC10-30F had those problems with the large freight door. Managed it quite nicely.

Re: CRM - Nationalities and feasibility
Still can't get my mind around Kipper Fleet operations with the aircraft commander down the back. So if you are addressing the guy in the LHS what do you call him? Pilot? Guess so. At one point I had a boss (Wg Cdr) Nav. I self authorized and was the boss in the air. Actually also down route. It wa...

Do you remember the vaguely Country and Western song whose punch line was 'Life gets tedious don't it?'
Life gets tedious don't it . . .

Since we're talking of CRM, have a read of this. I submitted this to the Bangladesh CAA and UK CAA when I returned from contract.

Post #7 . . . I SO know how this works and I also used to be 'leaned upon' when I wouldn't buck the rules. The rules were generally formed as a result of small holes in large hillsides and a bodycount.

A few words from Colonel Tim Collins. Says it all really.
It truly does . . . Dog help us. Can you imagine attempting to create an EU armed forces - with all the language, religion, gender, economic issues, it'll be addled before it starts?

So, apparently beards are 'in'. I reckon it's just a litmus of the difficulties recruiting in modern society. https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/advisory_circulars/index.cfm/go/document.information/documentID/22765 The above link is the results of an FAA investigation. Having had to don both c...

Re: Ministry of Peace and Truth
I cannot imagine how the Armed Forces are going to function, even if they managed to recruit the numbers they want. What with all the 'diversity' that is required, racially, religiously, gender-wise et al how in hell's name are they going to train recruits that they can't shout at, discipline etc et...

Ee up lad, welcome. I too am appalled by reports of the effects of bean-counters on training, coupled with the attitude and ability of many of today's young pilots. I am aware the industry can only recruit from the product of our education system . . . think on the new fact upcoming. Boys can have p...
