Thanks Hydro
My post seems to have disappeared.
We have the blue reflectors abeam hydrants as others have stated.
I am willing to bet that most people if asked about them would have no clue.

Thanks.

Poor thing.
I hope it is getting the appropriate help to cope with living on the "wrong side of the tracks".
Maybe a small consolation. Isn't Santa Barbara considered a step up from San Jose?

I was carded by OAS (Office of Aircraft Services to perform point to point transport, Recon (not below 500' . Below 500' required special training as well as Nomex and helmets.) and Air Attack. Generally you would fly the "Air Boss" over the fire. Communications was the number one priority with two ...

Can the recorders, etc, be de-energised from circuit breakers? Are these accessible by the crew in flight? Are the breakers either adjacent to each other, or their power feeds so (birdstrike or other damage)? Post accident shut down procedure required IIRC pulling the CVR breaker to prevent overwri...

I believe that Mister Bezos has some type of service which allows one to order and receive popcorn and other foodstuffs, and may other things, with the ability to receive them rapidly.

The planned burns here were once called "controlled burns" until after more than a few got away due to unexpected winds or other miscalculations over conditions for a safe burn.
They are now called "prescribed burns" but still come with unexpected results.

I updated phone due to battery life issues. Phone worked fine but wanted to be feed much more often.
Bought a used (like new) phone by the same manufacturer, just newer model.
New phone didn't have the same selection of sounds and ringtones as the old one and no way to make them match.

My complaint regarding car manuals is that they are one size fits all. They cover all of the trim levels and all the options for each. Helping both of my daughters explore their relatively new cars it was frustrating to read the manual touting all the gee whiz features only to find out they weren't ...

I predict an AD requiring retrofit of battery back-up for CVR and FDR in the near future for 737s that don't have that feature already installed.
