Re: LAA and Tracey

Oh how I wish I'd been a member of this forum while all this was going on. I confess that I was one of the LAA members who attended the meeting two and a half years ago and voted that the award be rescinded. TCT was not happy, she was very unhappy indeed and when the vote was under way she turned fr...

Well, if you want to limit your rant to people who are still around to account for themselves ...

Some of the Kikuyu torturers must be extant. Estimates of anything from 20,000 to 100,000 civilians died.

Not sure who that's aimed ar. I've not ranted so it can't be me.

Re: Any animal killers here?

I'm just getting in to night vision equipment (some of my neighbours really need new curtains). Here's a test video of me not killing something. Some nights I just sit there watching the wildlife go by (and I don't shoot badgers anyway).

Re: Rant of the Day v2.

Sadly none of the perpetrators of the Zong massacre are around to be held accountable for their actions. Miss Begum on the other hand, who left the UK to support a barbaric, vicious bunch of savages who raped, tortured, beheaded and murdered innocents is alive and therefore able to be held accountab...

As a non'display, non'aeros pilot yeah, I saw this as a distraction. But a stupid one that can be knocked over in very little time.

Re: Shoreham Air Show Plane Crash

I'm assuming (dangerous I know) that it's his brief that asked if he had ever heard of G-LOC. That being the case I'd expect the prosecution to be asking if he'd been taught about the effects by any other name . FWIW Mr Hill lives just a few miles from me. Don't know him, never met him and I've no d...

The BBC newsfeed on my phone keeps coming up with a story entitled "The Country where Lesbians Talk in Code". I confess I am confused about this. Morse ? Octel ? Wimsel ? Suggestions on a postcard please...

Re: Shoreham Air Show Plane Crash

I've not seen the news report so don't know how the question was phrased but as a matter of interest if you were asked if you had been trained in G-LOC as in Loss Of Consciousness what would your answer have been?

I suspect Mr Hill is splitting hairs.

I'm surprised to hear such a claim. Show me someone with even a passing interest in aviation and I'll sjow you someone who knows about the effects of 'G'.

Re: Any animal killers here?

I shoot animals for vermin control or meat (rabbits, foxes and deer). It is done for good reason, not fun, and in a way that will mean little to no suffering. If it's not a good, clear shot then the safety stays on until another time. No, I don't unbderstand the trophy hunter mentality either. Maybe...

No, you can't. Although in this case the pilot had already broken so many rules I'm surprised that one was left unmolested.

I identify as a brontosaurus you sexist bastard.

And it's okay, I'm not stalking Alison. I used to live in NSW/Qld. (The NT too but I think I'm over that now).

Re: Piper Malibu missing north of Alderney!

Regardless of who was going to perform this flight and who eventually did if it was a US reg aircraft and US licenced pilots wouldn't this be classed as cabotage? I seem to recall that US operators (I assume that applies here) are not allowed to operate intra-Europe passenger flights. They can 'boun...

Re: Piper Malibu missing north of Alderney!

Seriously though what is happening to the company who arranged this flight? I seem to recall reading elsewhere that 'someone', perhaps associated with the football club (don't quote me) asked someone else to arrange the flight with the request that a particular pilot be given the job. Somehow the j...
