Re: The really boring and totally pointless snippets thread IV

OK at pubic speaking. Stick me in front of a thousand and I can entertain, amuse and keep them off the streets for 10 minutes but as far as educating them forget it. They may ask difficult questions at the end. Like is the world flat? I don't bloody know. Never fallen off the end of it though.

We had a VC10 XR 806 do that at Brize. They were shifting fuel around during servicing and probably had too much in the tail and little in the mains.

Thursday town day. Jungle bunny noise again. Started at 06.20. It seems to go in phases. Don't think that they live there they are just working the land.

RiS as Reddo says it is all HF. You and I both did it in our MBA studies Myers Briggs and all that *sh*t*. Supposed to understand the team you are working with. It is just that the airlines were about 20 years behind the 'drag curve' in understanding the significance on the flight deck.

Just trying to have quiet sundowners on the veranda. Got some black spastics making jungle bunny noise about 2 km away. Inconsiderate f...ing uneducated morons. They should be drowned at birth unless their parents have an IQ of over 120.

Re: ETOP's and things

Absolutely Capt. Long story and I think told before. Took off from Moscow three on T/O power one at idle. Top of climb idle one shut down and another one throttled back. Landing LHR used three with one turning again but throttled back. And this is all because as mentioned by boing. We had been on a ...

Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III

Well done Woody. It is indeed a fascinating place and years ago great pub grub. We used to go walking in the mountains in the winter and dry out by their huge log fire.

This challenge looks down south UK.

Named after a mountain and said to be haunted by a number of ghosts. Probably the criminals hung in the court there.

Hi BOAC, are you referring to posting # 42 on this thread? I - no, sir - the elusive post was giving the same link I gave in my post, 'cos I couldn't find yours. :)) Does no-one have theories about the lack of 'events' outside Lion and ET? If caused by 'defective' vanes or software there would have...

Re: BREXIT - A Poll & Discussion

Only just alerted to this ministerial reshuffle. Happy to take the foreign office Woody. Very familiar with bloody Embassy cocktail parties but as the Minister one could bog off early and stir the *sh*t* in said country. I would bring back the British Empire. Any complaints from the NRs and they wou...

Re: ET crash ADD NBO

The more qualified people on the flight deck the better as far as I am concerned. I presume with double crews there are four pilots on the flight deck for take off and landing. I found it very odd going from four down to two up front. Couldn't even have a decent game of bridge. Flying across the pon...

Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III

Had to look that up Wodders, never heard of it. I know now.

The upper floor of this pub was apparently used as a court room for thieves and it is alleged that they would hang them there so you are definitely along the right lines.
