All this talk of ye olde writing reminds of some of the inscriptions we have on the island of Amorgos made in stone and dated to about 1 AD ish. Alisoncc's photo reminds me of the old terminal on the island of Naxos. It had a dog section next to it ;called a kennel. The public address system was an employee sticking his or her head out of the office and shouting the announcement!

As a retired nurse could bore all with numerous stories. Best one concerns a hospital side room which only male patients could be put in. Any female patients would awaken with their bedclothes floating above them. A Psychic patient reckoned a male patient had died there and just liked to have a look...

Inherited very thirsty bulbs when we bought our house in Bots which strained the 12 volt system. Now mostly LED'S which are much better!

As a child hated spiders but years of living in Greece and Bots now protect them! We also have several resident Turner's gheckos which are also good at munching unwanted insects!

:D Hello tried to say so earlier but my gizmo compounded slow WI-FI with updates without telling me! Decided to bypass the arrival lounge and swim to the ship. Just boarded and presently by life boat 5 looking to see if we have a ship's cat!
