Helicopter down Gaborone

#1 Post by Ex-Ascot » Mon Mar 25, 2019 7:00 am

Reports coming in of a chopper down in Gabs. Apparently only the pilot killed. Landed on a pile of cars which are all on fire. Just been shown a short film clip of the fire. Nothing in the news yet.

Hopefully not related or similar to yesterday's event.

Was the pilot's wife in one of the cars?

Actually guys I think I was given duff info. I am sure that it must be the incident that Cape has reported. Just too coincidental. Also the clip I was shown was loads of cars on fire.

Edit. Just seen the photos on the newspaper link posted by Cape. That was the fire I was shown. Moral, do not believe a local.

Just looking at helio crashes here saw this one which I had forgotten about. https://www.survivalinternational.org/news/11385
