Our public combis which are now stopped due to health regulations used to crowd in twice the legal limit plus chickens and the occasional goat. We would use them when the car was in for servicing. Great fun. The locals couldn't believe white man was aboard. All very friendly.

'tis nothing Woody. Worse things happen further north. I was on a Yak-42 once between Tbilisi and Batumi. It was only when the captain came out of the cockpit with a fag in his mouth to talk to some people he knew at the back of the aircraft that I realised there were three passengers without seats The loadsheet - assuming there was one - must have been a work of art!
