....the Saunders Roe Princess, but I did see one over Filton, a most improbable sight, that enormous fuselage actually flying over land.

The Beardmore Inflexible was an interesting aircraft, built by shipbuilders it was not a huge success

It was being test flown at Base Aérienne 125 Istres, in 1957 when I was posted to the RAF Liaison Party there.

The Languedoc that was used for air launching the earlier Leduc's was also at Istres, parked in the open, but I never saw it move.

I have no idea what this is, the Caspian Sea Monster, perhaps? The caption says "If it's ugly, it's British. If it's weird, it's French. If it's ugly and weird, it's Russian." :D
