Note enclosed with Traeger Grill...
Congratulations on your purchase of a fine Traeger Grill. You have have shown great discernment, and avoided purchasing anything stupid like our competitor's self assembly 'la Grill'. It will give you years of "smoky pleasure" and comes without an alien probe...
Instructions:

1) Turn on and add pellets.... (not cat).

2) Dial up "smoke".

3) Let all gauges go into the green.

4) Check RRPM and roaring sound.

5) Check hotrod fan and temps.

6) Add body parts (or meat).

7) Take off for Nirvana.

TGG, thank you for that clip. It reminds me why I never want to watch the Simpsons.

Anyway, getting back to my role as President of the Southern Hemispheric Chauvinists Society, and noting the fact that G~Man is an Anglo American, I will patronise him by suggesting that he eschew all advice from the UK where they know next to nothing about braaing or smoking meat and allow himself to be con..., er I mean, sensibly guided into importing the correct wood, preferably from South Africa... ;)))

https://braaiculture.com/best-braai-wood/

Another piece of advice I can give him is not to allow women anywhere near his infernal braai/smoking machine, it is unlucky and bad voodoo! Follow the way of the South African tong masters and may the force be with him...

This US Traeger dude seems to know his *****...

This thread has enthused me and got me to looking at barbecue/braai shops online. Just look at this outfit in Ireland...
