radial engine in motorbike

This chopper has a restored WWII 7 cylinder engine fitted, any idea the make of engine or horse power? I bet this sounds nice, but would the rear cylinders overheat in this configuration I wonder.

Warner Scarab by the look of the beast.
Reckon it's more for show than for touring, knowing how thirsty that thing is. You'd hardly make it out the gate with the amount of fuel that thing carries and there's barely enough oil there to avoid cooking the engine on a long trip.

Instead of using a radial engine, why not just mount a rotary one, in the back wheel?

Ah so. Dome should have given it away. Saw one in a Kitfox copy a few years ago. There's also a really fun little all metal short field machine with one somewhere in the US. Got the radials' appetite for fuel though.

You would want to wear your tight fitting trousers/leathers on that thing.Getting your '70's flares caught between the sprocket and the chain was common back in the day.Happened to me a few times.Nothing like having a bicycle attached to your trousers as you lie on the road.I think my flares may even have been purple (to start with anyway).

This one (may be the same bike but modified) has a belt guard....not to mention a nifty pilot on board...
