Head scratching here. Win10. For a long time (months) I have an almost constant disk activity led flashing. Drive Indexing is off on all drives. Avast is not 'doing' it. There is very little disk activity showing in Task Manager, 0.1 to 0.2MB/s for either Firefox or 'System'.
Where else do I look?
Updated to say I have stopped 'Windows Search' and 'Superfetch' in services and no change.

Re: Disk activity
I've had the same problem. Disabling search and superfetch changed noting, but running dskchk /r did.
P.S. There-s some weird ***** going on around here aswell.

I'd appreciate it if you followed me somewhat less on and off stage, Admin. It is beginning to feel personal.

Your system is being monitored. 'THEY' are keeping an eye on you!

Almost certainly an active service Boac (as you have already suspected) but before you go looking for that I assume you sorted the list of running applicatiosn by DiskIO% to identify what is taking the system bandwidth?

Re: Disk activity
Would 'THEY' be the same 'THEY' as are monitoring C Sudah?
Yes, process appears to be the dreaded 'System' so no help there. Mind you, I did C S's suggestion of a disk check across the machine and so far it has quietened down.

No I imagine the current cuckup surveillance systems are far more rigorous and intrusive!
