Saving forum pages

#1 Post by CharlieOneSix » Fri Aug 10, 2018 10:29 pm

Does anyone know how to save forum pages? I'd hate to lose all my posts in Rotary Nostalgia as the ones in there, especially in the "Ever Growing Helo Photo" thread, would be ideal to form the basis of my life's history in a booklet for my family. I've tried 'Snipping Tool' but it only captures what is on the screen and cannot be scrolled.

With Firefox (and Chrome, IIRC) CTRL-P will produce a PDF copy of the entire page. Similarly, CTRL-S will save the page as HTLM, with an option to save all the associated gubbins in a related folder. This gives you the option of subsequent mangling. SHFT-CTRL-S operates like CTRL-S, but allows you to name the saved file(s).

I have no idea if this will work for Safari or any Microsoft product.

Thanks compo - I’m using Firefox so I’ll give your suggestion a try.

EDIT: Brilliant - CTRL-S worked a treat!
