More and more websites seem to be producing their own podcasts, I’ve never listened too one, anyone else have any experience and recommendations, or are they just cheap pieces of journalism?

It's like anything on any website, it can be complete and utter bilge or they can be extremely informative and interesting.

It's just a fancy name for a recording available on the internet.

Something that scares me about the internet is that some people seem to believe that anything they find on the Internet must be true. For example I have a friend who passionately believes in chemtrails because he read something on the internet that was written by an ex airline pilot claiming that they do leave chemtrails.

The internet is a very powerful and very dangerous tool, or weapon might be a better description.

These are the same people that believed; 'It must be true, 'cos it was in the papers!'

Don’t mention that word Cape, we’ll have every nutter on the internet searching ops-normal on giggle and stating we’re a secret government organisation :((

Don't worry, gentlemen, Mrs OFSO did check under the table at Fischer's last month. No hidden microphones, at least none before she checked. Or so she claimed,

I find videos and audio stuff to be annoying because they limit how and when I can access it. The written word I can read anywhere there's sufficient light, regardless of what noise is going on, and I can do it at my speed, not that of the person generating the content. Too many videos are poor and hard to follow anyway. I think there's an age bias in here too, the younger generation will look for a video on a subject where those of us with grey (or no) hair will tend to go for written information.
