It's horses for courses really. PPRuNe is for active professional pilots, mostly airline pilots with mil and heli guys tolerated. I don't think we should tamper with that.

The 'others', whether retired or in the industry but not pilots need a home, and that is what we should be.

Such was my philosophy when recruiting for this site, and I hope this philosophy will prevail.
