Acer laptop freezing
A friend asked me to check her Acer laptop because it kept "freezing". When I tried to diagnose what was wrong I soon found that it "froze" quite often and, after a search on the internet, found that it was not an uncommon problem on Acer laptops of many varieties. Current plan is to repair Windows 10 and see if that helps.

Mine does too. It seems certain programs are more sensitive. TaxCalc and Google Earth particularly.

So wife texts husband on a cold wintery morning "Windows frozen".
Husband thinks about it and texts back "Pour boiling water around the edges" .
After half an hour wife texts back "Laptop won't even switch on now".
