I have just transferred to a new computer after my previous laptop (also W10 and Opera) died beyond repair.
I had a line of 'go tos' along the top of my previous Opera, but I cannot fathom out how I did it and how to reproduce this useful feature.
Any ideas?
W10 and Opera.
Re: W10 and Opera.
Presumably these were what are know as 'bookmarks' - normally placed there by you. They need to be 'imported' from your old Opera installation (difficult if the machine is 'dead'!) or re-created by you afresh.
See if this helps - assuming these are what you are referring to.

Re: W10 and Opera.
Opera calls the big squares in the middle of their browser page "speed dials". Hmm. Just taken Opera off my WIN7 PC. Reverted to the Fox using DDG.

Not really - ISTR a line of URLs across the top of the page, immediately below the uppermost line of sites visited recently.Boac wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 6:52 amPresumably these were what are know as 'bookmarks' - normally placed there by you. Re: W10 and Opera.
Click on Opera menu > Bookmarks> select Show bookmarks bar.
or:- Visit Opera Settings (Alt+P), check ‘Show the bookmarks bar’ under ‘Bookmarks bar’.
You can then highlight a URL and drag it to the Bookmarks Bar, and it will appear, as described, across the top of the page, immediately below the uppermost line of sites visited recently.
