Having never acquired a computer virus over several decades (here and elsewhere) and having received confirmation of freedom from infection on a regular basis (particularly over recent weeks) I started to receive warnings over the last couple of days followed by (today) a demand for renewal of the subscription which has coincidentally expired today.
Do I smell a rat? - you bet I do!
