If one downloads video from Youtube or some such, and displays it using a program such as VLC Media Player One can change the Aspect Ratio within VLC itself.
If I download something that was shot 4 x 3, but before putting on Youtube was 'stretched' to fill a 16 x 9 screen.
AS I said, if I use VLC I can display it correctly by changing the Aspect Ratio in the Video dropdown.
The problem I have is that If I burn to DVD and play via my DVD player, I can only display 'stretched', which annoys me!
Anyone have any idea how the Aspect ration can be corrected before the DVD is burnt.
The program I use for most of my video manipulation is 'Freemake Video Converter', that I have bought a licence to remove their watermark.
