Does anyone know to stop this? It slows down a couple of websites I use.

I've installed something called Facebook container which is meant to stop the same with FB, and something called Privacy Badger, and Twitter Container, but I'm not sure how or if they work.

Thanks, I've tried a couple of the simpler fixes, but it hasn't solved the problem. I fear that if I get too ambitious I will make things worse.
