Those of you with a security neurosis might like to ponder this.
I have just installed on my Android phone an application called DroidCam and the complimentary Windows DroidCamApp on my PC.
These allow my phone to be a remote webcam, within my wifi coverage.
The phone can also be directly addressed by any browser!
I set it all up and got working. And was playing around with it and the phone switched off for battery saving purposes, but the app and camera continued to operate.
Then I switched off the phone, and the camera was still active!
The only way I stopped the App was to re-boot the phone.

Re: Any Phone a Webcam Security Concern
It stops if you stop the App, the problem is if you close ALL apps. This leaves the camera on.
