Google Home
Google have just updated their Home devices with a very advanced AI system. And the difference is noteable. Before the new AI update, it was necessary to preceed every remark with "OK Google". Now, Madame Google listens and waits to see if a conversation is continuing. This morning, after the living room Home responded to a remark made to the kitchen Home, Mrs OFSO expostulated "Google, why are you so stupid! " Mme Google in the living room answered "Sorry, I'm still learning and I'll talk to my inventor." Pause. "Would you like me to sing a song or tell a joke to amuse you? " OK yes, I know Google listens all the time.....

Re: Google Home
Same with Alexa. I wonder how long you can 'converse' with the device without the proword.
I manage with what's the weather followed by a request for the wind chill, a thank you gets a your welcome.
'Alexa Good night' switches off all the lights and a chatty good night message.

Re: Google Home
What response would you get if you uttered the phrase "Fcuk off!"
Would it be "Life of Brian" "How should we Fcuk off?"

Re: Google Home
Driving the previous Mondeo with a car full of friends, the car asked (lady, in Castilliano) if I wanted assistance, to which I replied (in English) "Give us a blowjob".
A moments pause and the car lady answered "impossible" - 'impossibily' in Castilliano - and we all burst into laughter.

Re: Google Home
Who would buy a cheap plug for £10 when you can buy an authentic TP-Link for £12 ?

Pass: Ask me one on sport?
Re: Google Home
OK then, your sports question for the day is, In the 1948 sheep dog trials, how many were found guilty?
Re: Google Home
bob - I've tried hard to get an answer, but your question is too woolly. You need to specify country and location as there were many trials in 1948 and probably many so judged. This may be of interest for your quest, and I have found an image of several of the guilty bastewards. However, thanks so much for asking........ We do value your contribution....

In 1948 I probably saw some Sheep Dog Trials as part of the Cleveland Show on Redcar Racecourse.
The Cleveland Show was one of the years BIG days out in those days.
