Did you do a clean install on the new phones or did you use the transfer function of the big internet search engine?

Neither. Turn on a new Xiaomi phone and it looks round the household to find something from which to copy files, excepting phone-specific stuff like WhatsApp. There was and is a Huawei tablet which plaintively informed me Xiaomi rapscallions were violating it, did I agree with this scandalous file robbery and I suppose that's when they copied every password from the Huawei.

That is a worrying happening, OFSO. Where else did they all go? Password security is the last bastion and they should not be 'copyable'.

Yesterday I brought back from the UK a Relish 4G internet box, not plugged in since Jun 2020. Fired it up and all the Xiaomi phones, all bought up to a year later, connected to its password-protected wifi with no problems.

Any verdicts on the 9AT? It is cheap right now.

I have given up on keeping up. My wife has the same number 8 Xiaomi as I do, bought a year later yet hers has a 3 multiple lens and generally better camera, mine 2, a much better screen/display, a few other improvements but half the battery life. (Only one day, mine lasts two).

I bought a 9 last year as most Spanish websites only allow Spanish numbers for callbacks. It is noticibly slower than the two 8s.

I think each model number has high and low performance mobile. I think 9AT is the low end model of the 9 series.
