AVG

#1 Post by ribrash » Tue Oct 26, 2021 10:43 am

AVG keeps throwing these messages up when accessing various sites including O-N.Happens on all the usual browsers.Only recently started.

AVG has blocked access to https://i postimg.cc because one of the issuers of the server certificate has expired.

Any ideas ?

I have tried but for some reason it will not let me finish the download.I disabled AVG while I tried.I may finally have to admit that my comp is on its last legs.

Thanks BOAC.That seems to be working. The link I tried was the same but it didn't have the windows xp antivirus add on.

Great. As it says you will not get all the functionality of Avast with XP but I think it is still a superior FREE AV. Actually I believe Avast has just taken over AVG anyway!

The O-N certificate expires at the end of November so you shouldn't be getting complaints about it yet unless your computer clock is wrong.

I have tried setting it to Internet Time but it doesn't seem to make any difference. It is probably due to the age of the comp.
