No Traffic Info on Vehicles’ SatNav

My 2020 VW Golf Mk 7 has decided for some reason this summer to not bother alerting me to traffic problems through the OEM SatNav fitted as standard.

With a route programmed the nav screen shows ‘TMC’ with a diagonal line through it.

Has anyone else with VW, Audi, BMW or Mercedes or indeed any other car make had the same problem?

It seems the dealerships shrug shoulders and say “Not My Problem” but as prime contractor are they not liable under either warranty or Sale of Goods legislation?

Your post caused me to look at my Skoda TMC (which I do not use) and notice it is not working.
