Our neutered bitch didn't cause lawn burns, our daughter's, same breed, did. Our other daughter's male German Shepherd causes burns.
On human pee, the water butt is fine. The other application is the compost heap.

When indulging in free-peeing on a windy day, it's not advisable to get too near to nettles.

OFSO, I take it that you are referring to the nettles waving in the wind?

Did the trick for a large pot of impatiens by the front door, well watered in afterwards, another flush of beautiful flowers!

Re: Peeing on plants
A long time ago in sunny Cyprus just outside one of the transit accommodation blocks (101 for the cognoscenti) there was a rosemary bush that must have been about 12 feet high that had been copiously "watered" by many residents over many years. It was absolutely burgeoning and in season was covered on beautiful blue foliage. I always took a generous sprig (from high up) on the morning of our departure. Oh,happy days.
