Wanaka airshow this year.

#1 Post by Slasher » Fri Jan 10, 2020 6:35 am

Just wondering if any Kiwis (John Hill, ExS33d et al) will be attending Warbirds Over Wanaka this April?

While YouTube and others can provide some good videos and pics, nonetheless a lot of great stuff is missed. If anyone is going and camera equipped, would it be possible to forward any highlights worth looking at? If nothing else any Spit display would be worth its weight in gold. Same with any DH82.

If these can’t be posted on the forum then an email would be highly appreciated, and mine is available from Ex-A. Thanks in advance. 😌

Hi Slash
The RAAF Edinburgh Airshow last November featured DH82, Miles Master (or Magister?), Spitfire, P51, Kittyhawk, Boomerang, Hudson, Neptune, Orion, Catalina and Meteor; along with the modern stuff. Plenty of footage on YouTube.

(Oh, and Coodakid3 flying the F35 handling display. :D )
