The War Lover
Did anyone else watch this film on Saturday TV ? I am amazed at the poor reviews it got when it was released, because I really enjoyed it. Not that I have any experience to go on, but I thought the scenes in the aircraft on missions were very authentic. Even more so was the theme of the captain, played by Steve McQueen, holding his crew together by force of his own personality, something I have experienced back at work with a supremely confident Flight Ops Director ruling his team.
