Spitfire on Sunday

#1 Post by ricardian » Fri Jul 03, 2020 8:48 am

Seen just now on an RAF-related Facebook group:
To mark the 72nd birthday of the NHS, a Spitfire will be flying over various hospitals, Captain Tom More's home and Witchford on Sunday 5th July at 4:45ish!! To honour ALL the kind seamstresses and co-ordinators in the area who've tirelessly been making scrubs and scrub bags for health workers during this pandemic, This is for you!
The Royal Papworth Hospital team, who requested it fly over us in Witchford, invites everyone in Witchford to come outside their homes or stand in their garden and wave (a flag if you have one) as the plane goes by if you can)
This is truly an honour and a great moment for our little village!
Thank You NHS!!!
Spitfire on Sunday!
