At least it doesn't have the 6 inch rivets of the previous one. Was that Revell too or Frog?
I believe it was the Frog edition, possibly the Mk3 of which I have 2 boxed unmade versions in my occupational therapy collection in the loft.
Purchased decades ago with a view to bodging at least one into a passable semblance of a Mk2 AEW version, I even have some eng drawings cadged from the contractor’s working party at Lossiemouth of the radome in detail so’s I could have a bash at making one up.
I suppose the weathering kit the video is pushing at the end would be a very necessary ‘refinement’ to any well made kit!
Aaah, the enthusiasm of youth...!

If you are not into making kits then Nice Airplanes have a whole section of 'made to order' wooden Shackletons - 21" wingspan, 15" long, £150 plus postage. Livery to your specification. I have a couple of their helicopter models and the detail is superb, all hand painted. Go on, you know you want to.......
Not being a Telegraph subscriber, I looked up his Wiki page, and found this:
He became Officer Commanding No. 214 Squadron in 1974 and Station Commander at RAF Marham in 1975.
It appears that he was promoted from Squadron Commander to Station Master, without getting posted out and in!
Did this mean he didn't have to do the clearing and arriving with his Blue Card?

Brig Gen Derrick Page, formerly the SAAF Liaison Officer for veterans associations was on that flight.
A top bloke, maintained his RAFA membership, now in retirement in the Cape. I made the e-mail connection twixt he and ExA, for ExA to address the Cape Town branch.
Group Captain David Henken talks about his personal experiences

Thank you Ricardian, the galley obviously had an upgrade after I left. The pan boiler and infrared oven were quite new. We had a water boiler and a 6 tray fsn oven. Initially we pumped water onto the boiler from Jerry cans as the water tanks were not in use for some reason. They were recommissioned after I complained.

I attended a wine tasting this evening and one of the wines we tasted was this.
The vineyard owner explained why it was given this name and here’s the link
