I know someone who is interested but cost and transport would rule her out.

But there are people who would. There is someone building a GR1 cockpit.

That Victor on the left was never in RAF use and only served with RAE. It was being converted to a tanker but they never finished.

A poignant yet somewhat sad account, lacking the enthusiasm that returned XH558 to flight and allowed many (including my son) to experience the might of the V bombers - something that we were lucky (?) to have experienced.
As I said to my son at Farnborough in 2008 - "That's what I'm talking about!"

Somehow a mere cockpit section like those for sale doesn't have the same effect - though the Comet sections at DH Hatfield do convey the feeling of the aircraft - I suppose it's how they are presented. I know that my grandchildren enjoy sitting in the seat of a DH110 (we have visited several times as they live nearby).
