Re: A Malta Story
....An equally good Malta story is Nicholas Monsarrat's book "The Kappilan of Malta" about a priest serving the poor of the island during WW2.

Re: A Malta Story
Not all 'Malta Stories' have a happy ending.
I went on an Exercise Sunspot in Sept 59, it started well, moral was high and we were all enjoying a lengthened summer.
Then this happened.

The rest of the detachment was thoroughly miserable.
