Putting more or less the entirety of Northern Ireland's security services top echelon on one slightly dodgy helicopter was similarly stupid.
An acquaintance was flying a JetBanger on powerline patrol in the vicinity and was asked by Scottish to attend the locus. His aircraft was effectively the first responder, though he coulld do **** about the situation he found other than to describe it to Scottish (Information). His first impression was that the wreckage seemed to be that of a freighter carrying golf clubs. He told me that there seemed to hundreds of them scattered all over the hillside. No doubt absolutely vital equipment for a "security" conference in Scotland.
