Alpine Skier renewing acquaintance

Hi there
It will have been quite some time since some of you will have seen my name - actually around the time when Michael Schumacher had his skiing accident: I live over the hill and made a few comments on the thread at that time which is how I recall that. I was made persona non grata at TOP after a small spat with someone who was, apparently, a now-and-again mod'.
Spent my working life as a sales-engineer in the motor-industry in Europe, living variously in Britain, Germany and Switzerland and now reside in the Three valleys ski arena. I am pleased to see the noms-de-plume of interesting correspondents present ! I drifted into TOP via some general article with the site named, found it interesting and stayed, left (in a manner of speaking ! ) and am now here.
