#1 Post by bob2s » Thu Mar 14, 2019 11:29 pm

Hi all, bit of an introduction. One of Slasher's mob,but still living in the great south land down under. Spent 55 years working in the industry,49 of them as an LAME on helicopters and still feel a need to keep an interest in the industry and be entertained by those that the other site could not handle. Looking forward to the adventures of Slasher as he brings new meaning to the world of sim instructing.

Welcome to our funny farm Bob2. Not a bad crowd in general, that's the "spanners" amongst us. Those who sat at the front working the levers for a living can be a bit suspect though. ;)))

More like sim destructing mate! ;)))

In BKK between flights at the moment.

Oh and welcome. This place has quite a wide envelope of toleration. Just don't post blatant porn clips and you're good to go.

No, but I can offer a 13mm socket and ratchet handle.

Funny all my spanners and sockets are AF. The only metrics are adjustables acquired since, which I would never use on an aircraft.

Hi All ,Thanks for the warm welcome, sorry i didn't reply sooner but had an Aviation day yesterday which went something like this
Out of the pit at 04 sparrow fart for trip to Mascot to catch the big silver bird to Fiji for a break with the family, only to receive an text re the plane being late by 1.30 hour. As stated this was an Aviation day,so the 1.30 turned into a 3 hour delay. Anyway it was up up and away only to reach cruise alt and to then add to the enjoyment the turbulence started and it stopped cabin service for 2 hours of the 4 hour flight (bloody mumble, mumble)
Today being St Paddy's day and also the day I was delivered to this earth I will endeavour to make up for yesterdays stuff up's and ensure that the pool bar here makes a profit.
Once again thanks and nice to be here.

Yep Ian16th, There are two of us, and I held up my end of the bargain by keeping the pool bar profits on the up and up.

In a room of just 23 people there’s a 50-50 chance of at least two people having the same birthday.
In a room of 75 there’s a 99.9% chance of at least two people matching.
