I don't believe rules are necessary, as long as members contribute in a normal civilised manner.

I think you're discovering that the people who were high-maintenance in admin terms at TOP are just as high-maintenance here. The people are behaving the same, and ultimately the admins are, too. Perhaps you thought you were inviting misunderstood pillars of society here, and you now realise they're just dicks, after all.

As opposed to blokes who add little but whose sententious comments are made firm by stupid costumes...

When last did you add a flying **** comment to this forum?

And it's really that easy to rest one's case.

I think that 19downbubble is spot on. It's all too easy to blame moderators and label them unreasonable little megalomaniacs when a look in the mirror might have been more appropriate.

As for OFSO's option number 3, if it were to be implemented, I think we all know how many would get the boot. So far I think that Alison have shown more than reasonable restraint and fair warning given but ignored by some.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm neither slightly bald nor do I take advice on life from movie scripts. I understand that some view Youtube as the new Bible.

No biblical intent and good to hear you are not follically challenged Cuckup. Tis a good movie script by the way.

A bit tetchy tonight Cukup? I have always had a slightly scatological sense of humour (a bit rich coming from somebody with a moniker like Caco, I know, but there it is).

However you are right, ribald humour is best avoided. Cukup it shall be from now on.
