Site's birthday
I understand this site's birthday is around the corner. Any special celebrations planned?
Re: Site's birthday
I suggest that on 22/8/16 we all drink a small toast to Alisoncc/Admin and thank her for the supreme efforts she has put in.

+1
Would be nice if some of the original posters, C16, Blacksheep and a few others could join us

You may want to review your choice of tipple on this occasion Mr B.
Bó Mór isn't a nice way to address a lady!
Re: Site's birthday
Got me there, Compo. Even Google is not knowing. Can you elaborate, and tell the ancient Bowmore Distillery as well while you are at it. How should I undress a lady?
Re: Site's birthday
At the risk of a lifetime ban ... I refer you to http://www.faclair.com/index.aspx
Re: Site's birthday
I think you would need to try harder for a ban, Compo.
Bó Mór - Gaelic to English produces 'Sorry, no entries found'.
Come on, I'm intrigued.

No whisky for me on ops-normal's b'day but I shall salute the event with a large glass of ice cold milk.
Well done folks, this is still a fun place to come to and you make it so.

That site is an on-line dictionary, Boac. Try entering individual words. NB the noun precedes the adjective in Gàidhlig.
Re: Site's birthday
Is that Irish Gaelic or Scots? I am in West Kerry now, should I try it on some local lass?

Cape - Irish / Scots - same in both languages. Go for it!
