Pinky, state your preferences.

Re the Single Malt; Anything with the prefix 'Glen' in the brand name.

As for the Aussie Red; Any Shiraz or Cab Sav from the Barossa that is more than five years old! :-BD

Like the sign which used to grace the Front Bar of the Tanunda Hotel (my old watering hole) many years back;

Alte Wein und junger Fraulein sind die beste zeitgetrieben!

What? Oh yes....transfer OK here too! :D

Great stuff, Ex-Ascot; Now all we will have to do is make sure that rgbrock1 and 500N don't get into that inter-service I-can-drink-more-than-you rivalry stuff, :-s or before we know it they'll both be pished out of their brains and start comparing pink tutus!! X_X

Pink tutus can be overlooked as youthful exuberance and a wish to be like the Royal Marines.

Back from a delightful weekend aviating in the Hebrides. Just logged on again, and there was the full vista (pity MS defaced that word).

Seamless indeed. Good work, Alison.

Now, about that Paypal account for "participation aux frais"?

As one of my previous fathers-in-law (obviously the German one) used to say when I seized the bottle of wine to pour him a glass:

alison
could we have a topic made for good flying stories?
I originally used "the other site" in the search for good flying stories. ...but there seldom ever were any.
the sort of stories true and tall that stick it up the overbearing over regulators and are such wonderful reads that we need a thread for them.
