Just for amusement this is the card he produced for the Squadron 50 years ago in 1965 when we had an Australian Christmas....he can make a Wessex helicopter almost talk......

I think the cartoon is a great one, very suitable.
My only suggestion would be to change the "font" that OPS NORMAL is in.

I can read the Ops but it took a second or two to work out the "N" on the normal !

First off, thank you Allison for the hard work and for providing the forum in the first place. Regarding the prospective logo, I like it for a variety of reasons.

The plan is to place the site into maintenance mode at or about 00:00Z on the 26th December. Then allow a day or so for me to migrate all the existing data/postings, etc to the new site. Which hopefully will be up by 00:00Z on the 28th December. It will then be at http://www.ops-normal.org . I will implement redirects from this site to the new one.

In view of the general age of the members shouldn't the hair be white or grey?

Still waiting to hear back from my mate in Oz who will be modifying the font. He's not in the best of health so I'm hoping that is not holding him up and that I'll hear from him before the new site goes live...
