i think a topic at this level is an admin thing. I can't see any way of adding it myself.

WubbleYew, our forum software provides for "Categories" - main groupings, and forums (fora) within each category. Topics are individual topics within each forum. Thus "new topic please" is a topic within "Housekeeping stuff" forum under the "General Announcements" category.

I would have thought that aircraft design falls under the "Ancillary Professions" category "Aviation Design, Manufacture and Maintenance" forum heading. At least that was my intention. I could change the category title to something other than "Ancillary Professions" if you like.
