I saw Louis himself in Leicester, at the Granby Halls in 1956.

With his so called 'All Stars', Trummy Young, trombone; Edmond Hall, clarinet; Billy Kyle, piano; Jack Lesberg, bass; Barrett Deems, drums.

An exciting night, for a young impressionable me.
