The Person Below Me...
Re: The Person Below Me...
Hmm...I don't think you'd like the Politics forum then 603!
But true. I feel the same and have nothing to do with social media.
TPBM is not a member of Facebook Twitter Instagram et all and never will be.

Absolutely true. Don't have an account on any of them and never will.
TPBM believes that you meet a better class of person here on ops-normal than you do elsewhere on the web.

Re: The Person Below Me...
Sadly, no, as I will be embarking on a 4 day walk on the east coast of Tasmania, and have to carry everything with me. However, D1 & I did make a hole in a bottle of NSA "Red Wine." I guess they're keeping the variety secret, but it was quite drinkable. I'd guess it was a March 2018 vintage.

I may have drunk the above type of tea at one of the tavernas on Amorgos which is run by two brothers. One of the brothers is married to a delightful Thai lady which means that they serve Thai food, drink and tea. .......as well as some Greek stuff as well.

Postcards depicting wild animals? You mean like a drunken crew on nighstop in the Seychelles?
TPBM didnt think overnighting international airline crew ever behaved like that!
Dear TS. Greetings from us in the Sayshells. How ya doin' luv?
The handsome stoopid lookin' guy on the left puking is smee. The dribbling bloke falling over is the F/O. The guy with the champagne bottle propping him up is the Purser. The Arab-lookin' booby chicks looking like cheap Soho scousers are the hosties (just before we went
and chucked 'em in the pool).
Wishing you and the Squaddy Leeda was here. We'd turf ya in the
pool too!
Luv, Rod xx

True. The good, the bad, the pretty, the ugly. Most of the time it was the pretty ugly.
There are places in the world TPBM will definitely never visit again.

True, sometimes fortunately, sometimes regrettably. Fortunately, I will never visit 21st century Bougainville, but sadly, I will never revisit early 1970s Bougainville.

Re: The Person Below Me...
Nah it's not. I wanna go back to 1969 and do Woodstock, then on to 1978 and buy a 49% share in Microshaft. Then go back and hold a gun to Michael Cortez's head saying that I want Rick to jump on the plane with Ilsa and have her old man turfed out as one of the 'usual suspects' iso the bummer ending he envisages. Then come back to 2016, cash in me Microslop shares before buggering off permanently to the 23rd century and taking my rightful place in the command chair of NCC-1701A with Yeoman Janice Rand as the designated Captain's woman.

I don't mind Xmas so much as it's not 'in-yer-face' here in Thailand. Very low key really, esp up North here.
TPBM reckons NYE is overrated.
OFSO...I'll let you know once I get all the required Titanium, antimatter and dilithium crystals for Constitution Class (none of that Picard girly Galaxy crap). Also need those inertial damper thingys. Can't find any online and Amazon is out of stock.
