Made a new acquaintance, Max the Foundry Cat. Obviously a man's cat as he allowed me a few strokes but bit Mrs OFSO.

Wods-I water about once a week when the ball feels light when I pick it up

Fliegs-give it a go. It's really easy and you can get creative with the cording.

Our presentation went great yesterday. People actually showed up! I also got a clean bill of health from the fang fettler and I received an award at the Master Gardener luncheon (for best teeth :D ) All in all a successful day, but really glad it's over

Max is here seen demonstrating a better use for a glass fibre/silicone sculpture mould.

There is a bloody idiot in front of our house diving for lily rhizomes. There is a hippo very close to us. Oh well very boring he has just got out and the hippo didn't get him. Two bats again today on the veranda roof. Idiot diver now shouting to his mate. I told him to shut up. These NRs are incapable of being quiet. Bloody heathens.

HRH PC managed to drive us into a very soft area on a grass apron area in Tanzania. We dug it out as best as we could but even full power wouldn't get us out.

His jug-eared idiot spawn did worse to a 146 at Islay.

He landed it like a wheelbarrow on a very wet runway, downwind and downhill, 1,200 feet beyond the TDZ with a 12kt tailwind component and 32kts too fast. Buried it in the putty beyond the end of the runway at a locus which will forever be known to local pilots as Holding Point Charlie.

Three and a half million quid's worth of damage to the airframe. In Civvy Street it would have been written off by the insurers, but he paid for it out of that week's pocket money from his German Mummy. The Skipper and the Nav paid for it with their career prospects. It was the Nav's fault, apparently, for failing to explain to the handling stickmonkey, or his passenger in seat 0B, that when a windsock's narrow end is pointing away from you then you are going the wrong way.

The jug-eared twat now wears the uniform of a ReichsMarshall von der Royal Air Force. Funny how that works, innit.

The ****q gets more advertising by not paying for advertising than he would have got if he'd bought it.

Winning formula, I reckon.

UP, your obvious vitriol blinded you to who did what.

It's not funny and getting tiresome.

????

Explain!

Who did what, to whom? Do you say?

The bigoted Yorkshireman is actually quite funny, in his own kind of way. I wouldn't willingly let him hire my own farm labourer, mind you.

The famous and immensely lucratively successful litigative profiteer, MeLord LordGelt is beyond reproach. ^:)^

A headscratch wouldn't satisfy him.

He wants blood and land and money. In that order.

Everybody here, bow and scrape in his honour.

Bonnie Prince Charlie did both deeds.

Thanks for that Ricardian.
I know what you mean about the house rocking, I lived, while on the 748, to the north of Aberdeen (Ythanbank) in a 1890 converted school with 18" granite walls.
Some nights I wondered if we would wake and the house would no longer be around the bed.
They built these houses to last with extra hard granite. A few months ago I had a new sink put into the bathroom which necessitated drilling a hole about 2 inches in diameter in the wall. It took the island's builder 2 days to get through the wall with his extra-hard drill bits. Alas, the roof now needs repointing as recent winds have brought down some of the pointing on the stone slates. It's probably a job for the New Year after the winter gales have blown themselves out!

Headcorn sky at dawn.

Stunning sky, which the phone camera can't do justice to. Cold with frost on the ground.

Freezing wind appalling. Just putting security grills back on windows. Then off for pre-travel CV tests.

Saw a stunning sunrise this morning and was just a minute or too late finding my phone.
TGG, have you tried editing the image? The processor catches far more than the system displays on the screen as a best guess. Just tweaking a little but can increase the dramatic impact. The saturation setting can have the greatest effect with that one.
