A Blue Ensign with the a Union Jack in the first quarter and four five-pointed red stars with white borders on the fly representing the Southern Cross.

That is very interesting Kareaea. The issue of changed flags can create real passion, and heat as was evidenced in South Africa....

Breakfast at Dishoom Shaftesbury Av today. They've expanded into the former restaurant next door (Jamie Oliver's - was always empty), rebuilt their old place, added a verandah, but the food and service is as good as ever. Nan bread, cheese and bacon, a lassi and unlimited cups of chai on the house. £14. And the sense of humour...

We were assisting with planning / design of the JWT when I was at work, and I retired in 1993. Seems to be taking forever.

It's been raining overnight and is now. Rain is said to be on the menu for the next week, every day at some point, by them that guess and read seaweed.
Officially it's reported as 13c and cloudy.

Off to Porky Pies emporium this morning, to collect items ordered for the coming season.

Are British Rail or whatever they are called now, looking for people to foster their trains for the festive period? They appear to be from what Martha Kearney has just said on R4 Today......" people are looking to take trains home for Christmas"

Sorry Mrs EX-A but a lot of sleeping has been done over the last couple of days.

With regards to the plague I started to go downhill fairly rapidly on the Sunday.
I received the PCR positive result late Sunday evening by txt. Monday morning got a
mail message from Test and Trace informing me that I seriously being considered for the
new monoclonal antibody treatment Ronapreve. Two hours later got a call from a triage
nurse at Leicester's Glenfield Hospital Covid Medicine Delivery Unit and after a few
questions was told that the treatment was being offered if I wanted it and a doctor from
the unit would ring me back. An hour later he did, could I get there for 3 o'clock. By 4 o'clock
I had the new jallop safely IV'd into my husk of a body. As I walked out of the unit I could
actually feel some benefit already.
Woke up the next morning a changed man. The cough and phlegm had more less all gone and
I was feeling more alive than dead. I consider myself a very lucky man and am yet again greatly
impressed by the NHS. Improving each day but desperately tired at present.
Can't believe my luck as Ronapreve was only released in the UK last week.

That's great news HF!

Dull and calm here, just 0.6C. However, summer is on its way...lifted from my weather website...

Morning folks. Big tropical storm last night. Garden a bit of a mess. Not inspected it all but gardener has not reported any trees down just a few branches. Our big tent and small tent OK but the safari camp up river have got three big tents down. 38 mm. Water in the cabin of the boat.

Told the staff this morning that we are going away and no stealing. Will not give them their Christmas bonus until we get back. Also pointed out that with our new CCTV system there are security guards in Gabs monitoring them 24 hrs a day. Well obviously they only give ours a quick glance a day but they don't know that.

Excellent HF. Good job your are not here. Hope you keep improving.

Good decision Wodders.

Bloody booze cruise boat going past glad we are going away. No noise allowed at the top of the market safari camps.

Good show HF both the OFSOs were concerned for you.

This morning I completed the paperwork for our return via frog land next week. Four separate forms totalling 26 pages. A promise to quarantine for ten days upon reaching my final destination. Which of course isn't France or subject to French law, a fact which will doubtless bemuse the French.
