Morning folks. No rain here either hot and hazy. Hippos are back. Had a dead tree down last night it have a huge creeper on it. Have put in a pole to try to get it to grow up there.

Some folk seem to have received £250 each, in other cases just one of them received £500
No idea. Being over 80 and living with someone over 65 but under 80, I received £350. SM, the under 80 aforementioned, received £250.

I'm not complaining. :ymsmug:

Didn't get a single penny living here. Mid November 40C in the shade I want it anyway. I have paid in over the years.

Good morning on Tuesday November 21st.

13/15 for me in today's quiz: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/quizze ... er-21-2023

NB Q4 asks the meaning of a Maori word
the children of the town would go into the King's gardens, and gather nosegays for the pilgrims, and bring them to them

Van needs some TLC. after blowing out a radiator hose back in August, there's still a small coolant leak, which turns out to be from the turbo coolant pipes. Big design fault with an otherwise-good engine - the pipes themselves corrode, and the O-rings in the fittings suffer from the heat by the turbos. Major job stripping the engine down to be able to get at the pipes, too. Youtube convinced me to part with the $1500 required rather than try to do it myself. Booked in for next month when I've finished with the van for the year.

This morning's score 10/15. Hydro, as far as the rain went yesterday I am pleased to report that the entrails reader is keeping to his normal bad guessing
as there was not a single drop of rain. His guess for today will probably maintain his perfect score for incorrect forecasts.

Rain in the night here, distant thunder. Still in drought, need about 14 days continuous rain.

Morning folks. Still in drought here as well. We need months of continuous rain but nothing in sight.

Snow this morning - the plow is out for the first time this winter, though just a few centimetres from pop-up Cu coming out of the Arctic over the still-wet Gulf.
Looks like a nice clear morning in prospect.
Log fire, Xmas tree, hot coffee - all very hygge.

14 days, that’s nothing, just had a bloke called Noah knocking at the front door looking for wood for his boat :-o
When all else fails, read the instructions.
