Re: The really boring and totally pointless snippets thread V
At the moment: blue dome, bright sun, 5.5°C expecting 16°C by the afternoon.
Stars very clear overhead earlier.
Seems to be school hols now, the morning rush-hour considerably quieter for the next fortnight.

Might be worth thinking about that, there seem to be a few different systems available on line.

Good morning to the start of a new week. Warm again to justify Bermuda shorts. Work a 2-10 shift.
OFSO great museum isn't it?

Interesting read G-CPTN, fortunately we never have had pigeons under our panels just the jackdaws, of which I've been pulling down nest twigs again at the weekend, although there seem to be less each day. I've also contacted a couple of companies that will fit fencing around the panels.G-CPTN wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 9:24 pmhttps://allaboutsolar.co.uk/the-health- ... ar-panels/Malvernian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 2:44 pmYes thanks for that GG, I have seen the fencing. Greetings,
22°c, I wish for some seaweed, the soothsayer is going for 25°c
Slight haze so not quite a Dome.
Crema is slowly improving the throm.
Just waiting for herself, off to traumatology for her wrists (continued).
If she has an injection she can’t drive afterwards.
Might fill with cheap diesel while close to the Hypermarket.

RAF museum. So far have not seen one member of staff who is not obviously from outside the UK.

Good morning on a blue dome day with bright sunshine and 13.7°C, expecting 20°C by early afternoon.
Deciduous trees have thoroughly coloured up, and are well into shedding their leaves.
I see that Friday 19th is Poppy Day when sellers will be about the streets and poppies may be worn; Anzac Day next week.

Good morning all, blue sky with a few puffy clouds around. Currently 18C, forecast max 25C. Will go for a walk then maybe some garden pottering.

Can't find the right thread !
I can spell and pronounce Mr. ( Mister ) but how about Mrs. ? One often sees Missus in print, but is this right ? Is it really Miss uss ? or should it be Miss iss ? which is what I say. What do you do ?

Re: The really boring and totally pointless snippets thread V
This question intrigued me some years ago. The best I could find was that it was an abbreviation of "mistress", so presumably would be spelled "mis'ess" or" mis'ss", although it's usually printed as "missus", as you say.ExSp33db1rd wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 4:29 amCan't find the right thread !

Morning all. Clear skies and windy here. How's Wodrick's thrombosis?
Re: The really boring and totally pointless snippets thread V
Had a good walk this morning, then pottering successfully achieved.
