Morning folks. JNB Airlink business class lounge. No first class. Can't get into the SA lounge anymore. Only beer and wine here and only, after 10.00 it is 10.00. Had to put my watch forward 2 mins to prove it. It is OK not great better than ATH. 20 mins for security, and 20 for immigration. Very, very busy but efficient.

Edit, a full bar now.

After recent plastic surgery to remove a couple of skin cancers from her head, Mrs. H. has a head full of staples and stitches. I guess that suggesting that she's well set up to scare the trick-or-treaters would not be a good idea.

Had 1mm since midnight, clear now. from el radar shower moving to the west and clear of AGP now.

Looking at real time Wx station in Roses seems to have stopped there too moving North and hammering the frogs.

Home. Very tired. House standing but there is going to be a huge bollocking tomorrow. Little bastard has done very little. Next door housekeeper has already been shouted at for making jungle bunny noise. They know that I am back. Manager of the safari camp very kindly picked us up in our car with cold beers. He had his men clean our car inside and out. 7 trees down with elephants across our track. Had to drive miles around through the bush to get home. Nice and hot.

Night guard was suprised to see us. No problem he is very reliable and 5 mins early as usual. One has unpacked. Very rare for me in the first week. Pack with half an hour to go and unpack over a week.

In the process of packing before getting on a boat at Southampton on Saturday, then it is a leisurely (all being well)trip out to Barcelona and back over the next two weeks.. Mrs 1DC is getting quite frustrated about it as usual while I think we are surprisingly ahead of schedule.Been a lousy day on the Humber,THEY said we would have some sun, THEY lie!

I too was waiting for the sun to break through the stygian Northants gloom, but to no avail. I wonder if Keir Starmer does the weather forecasts now, as well...?

Enjoy the trip to Barcelona!

Yes a politicians forecast would adequately describe the weather here. I am looking forward to getting my sealegs back.. The long range shipping forecast looks ok.

Barcelona is the furthest north this time and we are on Sky Princess a large ship , for us, we normally like something with less than a 1000 passengers and I think Roses would be more their style! A get together in one of your nice restaurants would have been ideal OFSO.

I have just changed and washed the bed linen and am about to hang it out to dry, the chances of it becoming dry are about 60% given what
the sky looks like. The other thing on the agenda is to attend an appointment with the lung specialist to see how the fibrosis is progressing,
hopefully, it is stable.
